This Privacy Policy describes how Decoded Lemon ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with OuttaStock (the "App"). We are committed to being transparent about our data practices.
Short version: OuttaStock collects no personal data. Everything you enter — item names, schedules, notes — stays on your device. No account is required, no data leaves your phone, and we have no way to identify you.
1. Information We Collect
OuttaStock is a fully offline app. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. Specifically:
- No account required — you do not create a profile or provide any identifying details to use the App.
- No data transmitted — the App does not connect to any server or external service. All data you enter is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
- No analytics — we do not integrate analytics SDKs, crash-reporting services, or any third-party tracking tools.
- No advertising — the App contains no ads and no advertising identifiers are accessed.
- No location data — the App does not request or use your device's location.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device, solely to provide its features:
- Item names, categories, and any notes, tags, prices, or reorder links you choose to add.
- Replacement schedules, tracking intervals, and usage readings you enter.
- Your onboarding preferences — chosen measurement system (imperial or metric) and currency.
- Scheduled local notifications set within the App.
This data never leaves your device. You may delete it at any time by removing the App, which erases all locally stored data permanently.
3. Notifications
OuttaStock uses iOS local notifications to remind you when tracked items are due for replacement. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. We do not use push notification services or any remote notification infrastructure. If you do not grant notification permission, all other App features remain fully available.
4. Third-Party Services
OuttaStock does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. The App functions entirely without an internet connection and does not share data with any external party.
5. Children's Privacy
OuttaStock does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The App has a content rating of 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because no data is collected, there is no specific risk to children's privacy.
6. Your Rights
Because we collect no personal data, most data-subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are satisfied by default — your data never leaves your device to begin with. If you have any concern about data collected inadvertently, please contact us (see Section 8) and we will investigate promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's features or data practices change in a future version. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We will not retroactively apply a more permissive data practice to existing users without clear notice.
